These materials are also anti-seepage materials for civil engineering, with good anti-seepage effects, acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and long service life. Generally, the thickness of the geomembrane is between 0.2mm and 2.0mm, which can meet the construction of various environments. Currently, more anti-aging and ordinary geomembranes are used in the market. What are the differences between the two?
1. Differences in production of raw materials: Anti-aging geomembrane is mainly made of high-density polyethylene particles, and the quality of raw materials is better than that of ordinary geomembrane. In addition, anti-aging geomembrane is added to the production process with Anti-ager, antioxidant and anti-UV agent. These materials make the anti-aging geomembrane have better physical properties and anti-oxidation.
2. Differences in product quality control: The quality standard of anti-aging geomembrane will not be lower than GB/T17643-2011 GH-I, but the quality standard of ordinary geomembrane is generally the old national standard.
3. Differences in product color and appearance: anti-aging geomembrane has a smooth surface, high gloss, and high toughness. Common anti-aging geomembranes generally have double-sided membranes, black membranes on one side, green membranes on the other, or a pure black geomembrane. The color of ordinary geomembrane is darker than anti-aging geomembrane, mainly black, and cannot be made into black and green double-sided geomembrane.
4. Differences in application scenarios: because the anti-aging geomembrane has good anti-oxidation and anti-aging performance, it can be exposed to the sun and is suitable for anti-seepage projects in various environments, such as large landfills, biogas digester membrane, and other projects. However, the ordinary geomembrane does not have antioxidant and anti-aging agents added in the production process, so it does not have an excellent anti-aging ability. It can only be applied to ordinary underground anti-seepage projects.
5. In terms of price: due to the different raw materials and production procedures, the price of anti-aged geomembrane is higher than that of ordinary geomembrane.
